Happy new year and happy new decade! We have started the year with a bang at William and Mary and we can already feel that this year is going to be a good one. December came and went in the usual salon blur that happens every December, with all our stylists being rushed off their feet. We would like to thank all our wonderful customers who kept us busy throughout 2019 and Christmas, we look forward to seeing you all in 2020! This year we have made some salon new year resolutions which include:
• Lots of education courses at Davines for all our stylists
• To reduce our carbon footprint and become more environmentally aware
• Spend more time together as a team outside of the salon
• Provide all our clients with an amazing salon experience and excellent service
• Continue our charity work
• Enter some salon awards!
We are already making good progress with the education and we are continuing with last year’s tradition of lots courses for everyone at William and Mary. With our new brand Davines there has been plenty of opportunities for the team to attend the Davines education centre at Salon Concepts Studio. This will continue throughout 2020 as we know you never stop learning!
If you saw our recent post about Sustainability you will know that we have already made huge changes in the salon which included changing brand to the environmentally-conscious Davines and reducing our waste. We will continue with this in 2020 and further reduce our carbon footprint, we have some big ideas so watch this space…..
We have already begun working on our award entries for 2020 and our stylists are creating their mood boards and looking at current trends so that we can really push ourselves creatively and we hope to walk away with an award when hair award season is upon us. Fingers crossed!
